Introduction
What TradeMCP News is, what it gives your trading AI, and where to start.
TradeMCP News collects market news from crypto media, markets press and central banks, groups syndicated copies into a single story, tags each article to the assets it is about (BTC, ETH, EURUSD, XAUUSD and more), and scores it for sentiment and impact. Your agents, bots and dashboards read it over plain HTTP with one API key.
What you can do with it
- Search the last 30 days of news by keyword, symbol, source, time, sentiment and impact. See Search news.
- Follow an asset's mood with hourly, 4-hour or daily sentiment series going back a year, and find assets with unusual news volume. See Asset sentiment.
- Get pushed a signed webhook the moment an article matches your rule. See Alerts and webhooks.
- Stream every enriched article live over a WebSocket. See Live stream.
How an article is scored
A finance-tuned language model scores every article from −1 (bearish) to +1 (bullish), with a confidence. Impact (0 to 1) combines that score with how credible the source is, whether the story is new or a repeat, and whether the asset is the subject of the article or a passing mention. The highest-impact stories can also carry a short written analysis.
Where to start
- Quickstart: get a key and run your first search.
- Authentication: scopes, rate limits and errors.
- API reference: every endpoint, with a request console.
TradeMCP News is information, not financial advice. Scores are automated signals that can be wrong, late or incomplete: weigh them, don't trade on them blindly. You stay responsible for your own trading decisions and systems.
